It's my turn to blog here! Hope you all are enjoying all the CHA details and pics! I know I'm so excited to get my hands on some of those new products. As we wrap up the Winter CHA, I am going to share my projects with you.

My first project is a layout using the fun new line, "Will He B The 1". I love the graphics on this one as a Valentine's and sweetheart theme.
See that button with the burlap on it??? Well, that is a new product from Nikki! Burlap buttons are one of my FAVORITE things this year!! I LOVE them so much! I used them sprinkled throughout this layout. I also used the 10" diecut circle as a mask. I cut the heart from the middle with an exacto blade and used it to mask glimmer mist. I love the effect!!!

Here is another project of mine using this line... I made a cute Anniversary card with the circle and cut outs.
Aren't these papers delish??? Just gorgeous colors and designs. I love the tickets too!

Finally, here is a fun project made ENTIRELY of "My Sweet Cherry Pie" papers. I constructed the pie crust with the brown papers cut in a rounded tag shape with my Cuttlebug and curled them to construct the sides of the pie. I then cut a circle with the cherry paper for the "filling" and added the crust with strips made with a Fiskars border punch. Added a paper napkin made from the green checked paper and some cut outs for accents. The finishing touch was a coating of sugar by added clear glitter! YUM!
Hope you enjoyed these projects and I'll be back next month to show some more new layouts and projects with the new lines!!

XOXO
Jen

More U R My Favorite

Hi you all! It's Hilde from the Netherlands, your bloghostess for today.
Since I'm not at CHA ( which I had loved ofcourse ) I am not going to show you some boothpics. Instead I'm going to show you a mini album I created.
I used U R My Favorite papers and the crown chipboard album.

I really loved working on this album. It's a great size to work with. And having 2 daughters the theme is perfect!

My Favorite so far...

Hi there! It's me again, Ria Mojica, hosting today's blog post.

I fell in love with U R My Favorite as soon as I laid eyes on them. And so even if we were supposed to be working on another collection, I have to admit that I cheated and sneaked a LO using these papers first :).

This LO I made using photos from my daughter's birthday. One of the games we played was "The Boat Is Sinking" and we thought it was so cute when she held on so tightly to her partner to make sure she stayed in the game.

I love how you can easily use these papers with other colors and that little frog prince is so adorable -- I am saving another sheet for a LO with my own prince -- though definitely not a frog!

And to show you how verstile these papers are, I also used them for a Boy Easter LO. Because the pink is toned down by the neutral colors, it is easy to use these papers for any Spring occasion and yes, boy LO's too!

I also used one of the matching crown chipboard album pages to make my focal point photo stand-out and support the "king" theme of the LO.

Did you also notice the cord brads up top? I'm not much of a button or brad person but find myself using them more on boy LOs. I love how easily and simply it adds texture and dimension to any page.

I also made 2 simple Valentine cards using the matching stamp set and mini paddies.

I think you'll agree that Nikki's papers are getting yummier by the season and we have 6 new lines for you debuting at CHA in a few days with the cutest names:

Check out the site for all the yummy goodies coming soon!!!

That's it for now, and see you again on Feb 21st!

Cheers!
Ria

It's my turn to share :)

Hello, Nikki Sivils fans! This is Nathalie, your host for today, and while almost everyone in the industry is getting ready to migrate West for the Winter CHA, I have been creating a few new projects with the fun and fabulous U R My Favorite and My Sweet Cherry Pie lines (loved going back to that very first collection!).
As you see above, I used U R My Favorite to alter a little wooden birdhouse found at Michael's for $1 and made this clean and simple landscape page showing that these papers also work for boys :)

In addition, here are a couple more new things I made with Nikki's very first collection, My Sweet Cherry Pie. Don't you think this altered candle will make a cute teacher's gift?
And since I just received a Bind It All at Christmas I couldn't resist making this little notepad for myself :)
I will see you back here in a month with new projects (can't wait to play with the upcoming new lines!) but in the meantime, I wish Nikki and the other travelers safe flights to California!
A bientôt!
